Those two landlords are a little clueless about bedbugs. They can be found in some of the most expensive hotels in the world, so it's not about "being careful" - they're a little like head lice - can happen anywhere to anyone.

Am I reading this correctly - this happened in 2012 and they're just getting arrested this week? There's definitely no justice there....I'm glad I don't live in Tennessee.

54 dogs seized and ONE charge. What's wrong with that picture? I'd love to share what Attorney Richard Rosenthal of The Lexus Project had to say, but it's too long. He hit the nail right on the head though.
And, Weich was alerted before hand, so the puppies he still has could be moved, and not seized.

The first vet was there with the SP in the dark, with a flashlight. If what the current group of vets says is true, she wouldn't have seen the true condition of the dogs.
Once the first vet submitted her report, she never said the dogs were fine. Perhaps the SP are just telling you what they wanted her to say. Visit the FB page of The Lexus Project, and you can probably find her report. She did nothing wrong.

Seems like some DMV workers might require some sort of training to spot/check documents....

Back in the day, we used to get 2 weeks at Christmas. And no, there wasn't always someone home, nor were there as many options for activities as there are today. Everyone will survive.

Assistant principals to monitor the halls - hire some retired law enforcement personnel, better yet, hire some displaced workers from Tryon, and let them handle the offenders.
Time to try something different.....

Also would have been nice to include hours/days of operation in the article, for those unfamiliar.

Too bad there's so much construction right now. Visited Villa Italia from the west a couple of weeks ago, took me 45 minutes to get there once I crossed the bridge into Schenectady. Advise anyone else from points west to take 890 to Route 7, take the back way as if you're going to the mall, and head back down. What a nightmare.

Whatever happened to the "Campaign for Fiscal Equity"? Had a lot of steam close to 10 years ago, regarding the formulas for figuring state aid, based on a lot more than just race. They won a lawsuit somewhere down the line, and then just seemed to drop off the face of the earth...
Not just unions, wmarincic, tenure has got to go as well.
