Warrant raids lead to four drug arrests in Amsterdam
AMSTERDAM Four people were taken into custody on drug charges during early morning warrant raids Wednesday.
The Amsterdam police, Montgomery County Sheriff’s SWAT team and state police served a search warrant on Bunn Street while Amsterdam police officers and detectives executed three other arrest warrants, all based on a cocaine sales investigation, according to Amsterdam police.
Charged with third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance were: Alan “Piff” Shaw, 33, of 65 Bunn St.; Anton Ross, 50, of 22 Bunn St.; Dorothy Rogers, 50, of 22 Bunn St.; and Nygee Roby, 20, of 34 Glen Ave.
All four were held to await arraignment.
