Milton woman receives probation in drunken-driving crash
BALLSTON SPA A Milton woman who hit another car head-on last year, seriously injuring the driver, was sentenced Tuesday to five years’ probation.
Tori A. Spina, 24, of 536 Acland Blvd., also was ordered to use an alcohol-sensing ignition interlock device on her vehicle and pay $160 in restitution.
Spina pleaded guilty in February to second-degree vehicular assault in the May 2012 crash on Brook Road in Saratoga Springs. Police said Spina’s car crossed the center line and hit a vehicle driven by Joan Ross of Milton, causing Ross’ vehicle to overturn.
Ross was flown to Albany Medical Center with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
