Driver sought in Troy hit and run
TROY City police are looking for the driver involved in a hit-and-run accident Friday evening.
A Nissan was heading north on Hill Street about 5:20 p.m. when it turned left onto Havermans Avenue and cut off a motorcyclist who was headed south. The motorcyclist had no time to react and collided with the car, according to police.
The rider suffered non-life threatening leg, hip and back injuries and was transported to Albany Medical Center.
The driver abandoned the car a few blocks later and fled on foot.
