Man faces prison for stolen cards
BALLSTON SPA A 41-year-old Lake George resident was sentenced Monday in Saratoga County Court to two to four years in state prison in a stolen credit card case.
State police charged Dana R. Livziey was charged with criminal possession of stolen property in March for using a stolen credit card at a business in Wilton.
Livziey pleaded guilty to the stolen property charge in September and was sentenced Monday by county Judge Jerry J. Scarano.
In other court action Monday:
Aaron J. Suits, 41, of the Crest Inn in Wilton was sentenced to 90 days in Saratoga County Jail, time he had already served after pleading guilty in October to criminal possession of stolen property in Wilton on Sept. 20.
Darrick J. Thompson, 32, of Glens Falls pleaded guilty to possession of a forged instrument stemming from his arrest April 26 in Saratoga Springs by city police. He will be sentenced Jan. 14.
Christopher McCarthy, 42, of South Franklin Street in Saratoga Springs pleaded guilty to driving while intoxicated May 20 in Saratoga Springs. He will be sentenced in January.
Zachary R. Manrique, 24, of Springs Street in Mechanicville was sentenced to time already served in county jail and five years’ probation after pleading guilty in September to criminal possession of marijuana in Saratoga Springs on April 12.
In other recent county court cases:
Sally G. Longton, 44, of Gailor Road in Wilton was sentenced Thursday to two to six years in state prison for felony driving while intoxicated and three counts of second-degree harassment. She was arrested June 23 in Ballston Spa by the Ballston Spa Police Department.
Christopher M. Jamieson, 20, of Rock City Road in Milton pleaded guilty Thursday to third-degree burglary and criminal possession of stolen property. He was arrested in October 2011 in connection with burglaries in Milton and Wilton.
James M. McFarland, 43, of Carousel Court in Ballston Spa was indicted Wednesday on two counts of felony DWI. He was arrested by Saratoga Springs police July 8.
Bruce W. Roselle, 57, of Armer Road in Galway pleaded guilty Wednesday to a charge of attempted assault stemming from his arrest May 23 in the town of Galway by the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office. He was sentenced to a one-year conditional discharge.
