Man had illegal sexual contact with girl in Schenectady County: police
PRINCETOWN A 20-year-old Westerlo man has been arrested, accused of having sexual contact with a 15-year-old girl in Schenectady County, state police said.
Justin A. O’Toole, 20, of Westerlo, faces charges of sexual misconduct and endangering the welfare of a child. He was charged Monday.
O’Toole is accused of having been sexually involved with the girl at locations in Rotterdam and Glenville.
The case has roots in a report to state police in Catskill that the girl had gone missing in November, last seen at Crossgates Mall in Guilderland. She was found the next day in Westerlo and investigators discovered she was involved with O’Toole. O’Toole then was charged in Catskill with endangering the welfare of a child, arraigned and ordered to stay away from the girl.
An investigation by state police in Princetown then revealed the alleged sexual contact in Rotterdam and Glenville. State police did not indicate when that contact is alleged to have occurred.
O’Toole was issued appearance tickets on both the Rotterdam and Glenville charges and ordered to return to court next month.
