Schenectady woman gets prison for Ballston Spa drug sale
BALLSTON SPA A Schenectady woman was sentenced to 11⁄2 to three years in prison Monday on her recent guilty plea to second-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance.
Erica L. Marshall, 35, of McClellan Street, was sentenced by Saratoga County Court Judge Jerry J. Scarano in connection with the drug arrest in March 2011 by Ballston Spa police.
Also in County Court on Monday:
-- Alexander P. Jones, 25, of Swan Street, Schenectady, was sentenced to time served for three counts of failure to register as a sex offender. He was arrested in September 2011 by Ballston Spa police.
-- John V. Vardine, 43, of Allen Drive, Saratoga Springs, pleaded guilty to fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. He was arrested by the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Department in October; he will be sentenced in February.
-- William B. Shafer, 26, of Ferry Lane, Stillwater, pleaded guilty to attempted third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and failure to report an address change within 10 days. He will be sentenced in February.
