Many of us have been home more than ever this year because of COVID-19. In the last few months, kitchen tables have become impromptu office spaces and living rooms have become classrooms.

The Daily Gazette wants to highlight some of the ways that homes in the Capital Region have changed this year. It will feature these stories and more in its Home section, which will be published in September.

If you’ve renovated your home during this time, whether that means creating an office space, finishing a basement, or finally getting around to home projects you’ve wanted to do for years, we want to hear about it.

Send in a short description of the changes or renovations you’ve made to your home along with a photo and we may feature your home in the upcoming section. The submission deadline is Monday, Aug. 17.

There are two ways to submit:

Email the photo and description, including the town you reside in, to [email protected]

Or, mail the information to The Daily Gazette Co. 2345 Maxon Road Ext., Schenectady, NY 12301, Attention: Indiana Nash.
