Middleburgh High School

Ania Keidong

VALEDICTORIAN

PARENTS: Scott Keidong and Jean Marie Keidong

COLLEGE OR OTHER PLANS: Attending Clarkson University

AFTER COLLEGE: Apply my skills to benefit others and continue learning.

WHAT IS IT LIKE GRADUATING HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MIDDLE OF A GLOBAL PANDEMIC: It is definitely strange, I never thought the end of my senior year would be spent at home communicating and learning completely online.

WHAT DID YOU LEARN ABOUT YOURSELF AND YOUR CLASSMATES THIS SEMESTER: Our increased free time and ability to choose what we do each day shows what subjects and activities we are drawn to and what is important to each of us.

WHAT IS A MEMORY OF YOUR SENIOR YEAR YOU’LL NEVER FORGET: Spending time in our theater. While we never got to perform our spring musical, the time preparing for it and for our fall plays were “wonderful, wonderful” days spent with amazing and dedicated people.

WHAT WILL YOU MISS MOST ABOUT HIGH SCHOOL: I will miss, and already do miss, seeing the people and teachers that I grew up with.

WHAT’S IN YOUR MUSIC PLAYER: A wide variety of genres depending on the day, rock, folk, filk, show-tunes, and more.

BEST PART ABOUT GRADUATING: No longer having to wake up at 6 a.m. (hopefully)

WHO OR WHAT INSPIRES YOU: I am inspired by knowledge and creativity. I hope to learn from every experience, and be creative in my pursuits, as well as combine the two to benefit others.
