DeGennaro, Lucarelli and McCormick to TrustCo board
Dennis De Gennaro, Joseph Lucarelli and Robert A. McCormick will each serve another three years on the board of directors at TrustCo Bank Corp NY, the holding company for Glenville-based Trustco Bank, according to a Tuesday filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
De Gennaro was elected with 94.6 percent approval at last week's annual shareholder meeting in Rotterdam. He also serves as president and CEO of Schenectady-based Camelot Associates Corp.
Lucarelli was elected with 94.5 percent approval. He also serves as president of Schenectady firm Traditional Builders.
McCormick received 73.3 percent approval. He served as chairman of Trustco Bank from 2001 to 2008, president and CEO from 1984 to 2002 and director since 1980. He retired as an executive officer from the bank in November 2002, when his son Robert J. McCormick took over as president and CEO.
Shareholders also approved a non-binding advisory resolution on the compensation of TrustCo’s named executive officers, and appointed Crowe Horwath LLP, one of the nation's largest public accounting and consulting firms, to serve as the bank's independent auditors this year.
