Participating restaurants include: Wolf's 1-11 Arena Sports Grill, The Victory Café, V&R Italian Ristorante, Taste, LaSerre, The Merry Monk, Katrinella's Bistro, Jack's Oyster House, Hudson Harbor Steak & Seafood, The Hollow Bar + Kitchen (formerly the Bayou Café), Franklin's Tower, Charter (Hilton Albany), Cafe Capriccio and he Albany Pump Station.

Diners are encouraged to make advance reservations with specific restaurants after 2 p.m. daily.

"Since its inception in 2004, downtown Albany's Restaurant Weeks have had a combined economic impact of over $5 million," said Mayor Jerry Jennings in a news release. "Whether coming out to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Jack's Oyster House or spend an evening at a favorite café, patrons have the opportunity to explore a variety of culinary offerings at exceptional prices during Restaurant Week."

Four different promotions will be offered during the 2013 Spring Restaurant Week, including:

• Student Night, April 22: Area college students are encouraged to dine out at Jack's Oyster House, LaSerre, V&R Italian Ristorante, Victory Cafe and Wolf's 1-11 Arena Sports Grill at an even further discounted price of $15.13
• Date Night, April 23: The first 10 couples to dine at a Restaurant Week participating restaurant will receive a complimentary rose.
• Capital Ticket, April 24-25: Parties of four or more participating in Restaurant Week will have a chance to win a $200 gift certificate to any business located within the Downtown Albany Business Improvement District. One winner will be awarded on Wednesday and one on Thursday night.
• Surveys: Restaurant Week patrons can enter to win hundreds of dollars in downtown dining gift certificates by filling out a brief survey about their dining experience. Winners will be chosen at random from all completed surveys. A grand prize winner will receive four gift certificates totaling $200. A second prize winner will receive two gift certificates totaling $100. And third-prize winners will receive gift certificates totaling $50.

"Restaurant Week is an invitation to the residents of the Capital Region to come and experience an evening in the heart of our city," said Downtown Albany BID Executive Director Georgette Steffens in the release. "Every night of the event can be paired with vibrant activity in downtown, whether that be cheering at a sporting event, visiting a local gallery or museum, or taking in a concert or show."
