A new Dunkin' Donuts has come to Rotterdam and to celebrate employees will be giving away free travel mugs to the first 100 patrons at their grand opening celebration Tuesday.

The new restaurant, located at 300 Wayto Road in Rotterdam, employs about 20 associates and is open daily from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. The 1,400-square-foot building seats 18 people and has a modern, warm interior, as well as a drive-thru.

"We are proud to serve the hard-working people of Schenectady, and hope to become a popular destination and an everyday routine for guests looking for high-quality coffee, baked goods and snacks delivered fast in a friendly environment and at an affordable price,” said Dunkin’ Donuts Franchisee Paul Camelo in a news release.

There are a half dozen Dunkin' Donuts shops in Rotterdam, including ones on Curry, Duanesburg and West Campbell Roads, as well as several on Broadway. The new shop is located near the intersection of Carmen and Curry roads.
