CDPHP experienced increased membership last year, according to year-end financial results reported to the state.

In 2012, the Albany-based health insurer reported total revenues of $1.8 billion, with a net gain of $15.9 million. In addition, the not-for-profit health plan added nearly 47,000 members last year, from 362,959 enrolled at the end of 2011 to 409,938 enrolled at the end of 2012.

“CDPHP continues to offer competitive pricing while addressing the need to transform the delivery of health care in upstate New York," said President and CEO John Bennett in a news release. "As a not-for-profit health plan, we remain committed to keeping costs affordable and will continue to invest in products and services that we believe will ultimately bend the cost curve and bring health care costs down."

CDPHP provides health plans to members across 24 counties statewide.
