The gracious Karen Roach always hosts a wonderful post-tulip party at her downtown Albany home!
And of course, I am there!!!
This year, we had many wanderers ... and fine friends from festivals past!
We had Ann McKee of Bloomfield, Karen's mother, who always makes the show ... and this year brought four packs of Zweigle's hot dogs .... the pride of Rochester!!!
Brian Nearing of a Truly Unique newspaper was in town ... and he tells me he is three weeks into his new radio show on the environment on WVCR, The Saint, 88.3, FM. He's been pestering me all night!!!
For Brian's show tune in at 1 p.m. on Saturday!!
Karen and her crew cooked hot dogs and hamburgers ....there were salads ahoy!! Every Tulip Festival person should have such a fine after-party to attend!!
"What is Mother's Day without the Tulip Fest!" McKee said.
Right now it is 10 p.m. ... and time to go home!!!!
