Batey wins putting contest

John Batey was the last man standing in the CapitalAreaGolf.com putting contest today at Orchard Creek.

Bill Gawan was second, and Ben Smith was third.

Other finalists included John Cudderbuck, John Gurner, Darren Anderson, Ron Patterson, Marco Fengeo, Mark Gruid and Matt Panneton.

All proceeds went to the Junior Golf Alliance's First Tee and Hook at Kid on Golf programs.
