Nick Miseno has been one of the Capital Region's top bowlers for a couple of decades, but he never had the pins drop the way they did Monday night at Towne Bowling Academy.
The 40-year-old Miseno rolled a 279 opener and then a 300 game before closing with a 299. That gave him a whopping 878 triple in the City league.
It was a career high by about 50 pins for Miseno, who said league bowling usually doesn't bring out his best.
Find out more about Miseno's banner performance in my "In the Pocket" bowling column Friday morning. Miseno said he's made a few changes recently.
