A diverse group at Occupy Wall Street (with photos)

I hied myself down to the Big City the other day to attend the Occupy Wall Street festivities, and what most struck me was the diversity of the occupiers. There were the ear-pierced and dreaklocked grungeballs favored by Fox Propaganda, to be sure, but those citizens were far outnumbered by the clean-cut, the upstanding, the middle-aged, the old-aged, the ordinary, the unremarkable. This was in dramatic contrast to the Tea Party demonstrations I have attended, which are almost entirely made up of middle-aged white grumps.

For further thoughts and observations on this subject I refer you to my column in Tuesday’s newspaper. To view photos that I took, click here.

The ear-pierced and dreaklocked grungeballs don't believe in working for a living and being a responsible citizen, that's why you don't see them with the Tea Party.
