Mexico photos
Monday, December 21, 2009

Readers of my column know that I recently returned from Mexico, where I went primarily to celebrate the Day of the Virgin of Guadalupe, and they know also that I took a few photographs there. Now I'm pleased to announce that the photos are available for your viewing pleasure simply by clicking HERE.
But a warning, while most of the photos concern people and events having to do with the celebration of the aforementioned Virgin, a few at the end depict a bullfight, and readers who are squeamish about such things or who object in principle to the ritual killing of animals may want to pass those by. I do not necessarily endorse bullfighting myself, but then I can't say I necessarily endorse the worship of the Virgin of Guadalupe either. In both cases I am an observer.
