New column debuts Friday

We welcome aboard veteran skiing enthusiast Phil Johnson of Clifton Park as The Gazette's new ski columnist. His weekly column, titled "Ski Lines," begins Friday -- in print and online.

Phil also plans to blog in this same space on occasion.

He replaces longtime Gazette ski columnist Bill Rice.
