Record for Lapi

Amsterdam senior Brandon Lapi registered a hat track when he closed his high school wrestling career with a state title.

Lapi’s final high school match was also the last match for his coach, Ken Benton, who is stepping down with 334 wins.

It was also the 264th win of Lapi’s career, making him the top winner in Section II history.
