School lacrosse: Sexton sets record

By James Schiltz
Wednesday, April 23, 2014

Niskayuna junior lacrosse player Catherine Sexton set a school one-game record with eight assists in Tuesday’s 20-6 Suburban Council win over Averill Park.

Sexton also scored two goals for a career-high 10 points.

Sexton had shared the Niskayuna assist record of six with Kayla Treanor. Treanor, who is excelling at Syracuse, had six assists in a 2012 game against Saratoga Springs. Sexton had six assists earlier this season against Ballston Spa, and also had six against Ballston Spa in 2012.
