School lacrosse: Marr to Hopkins
Inside Lacrosse reports that standout Shenendehowa attackman Kyle Marr has given a verbal commitment to attend Johns Hopkins.
The senior is the son of University at Albany men’s lacrosse coach and former JohnsHopkins player Scott Marr.
Kyle Marr scored 51 goals last season when Shenendehowa captured the Section II Class A championship and advanced to the state semifinals.
He will attend Hill Academy in Ontario for a year before heading to Johns Hopkins.
Crease defenseman Ian Grey of Shenendehowa has given Providence a verbal commitment, and defensive midfielder Reed Avveduti of 2012 Section II Class B champion Niskayuna has given Sacred Heart a verbal commitment.
