School cross country: CBA sweeps Big 10
Christian Brothers Academy won three Big 10 cross country team titles Wednesday, with its freshmen and junior varsity groups dominating just as its varsity contingent did in taking the top spot for the first time since 1994.
The CBA varsity got a win from Justin Val Epps, and had its five scoring runners among the top seven. CBA scored 23 points while second place Notre Dame-Bishop Gibbons had 96.
Like the varsity, the CBA JV team had five runners in the top seven. CBA’s freshman team had five runners in the top eight.
The meet was held at Queensbury.
