Ex-Giants lineman Diehl joins FOX Sports

David Diehl, who just retired after an 11-year NFL career with the New York Giants, has been hired to be as a game analyst on FOX Sports' NFL coverage, the network announced Wednesday.

Diehl, an offensive lineman, won two Super Bowls with the Giants. Capital Region Giants fans may remember that Diehl had a segment on Rodger Wyland's "Big Board Sportstalk" on FOX Sports 980 (WOFX-AM) from 2008 to 2010.

“I’m thrilled for the opportunity to still be involved in the sport that I love so much and that has provided me so much in my life,” Diehl said in a statement. “FOX Sports has a tremendous team of talented analysts, and I’m excited to join them and add my knowledge and experiences to the mix.”
