UPDATE: Tuesday's First Four gets 0.9 rating for truTV

Tuesday's NCAA men's basketball tournament First Four double-header, which featured UAlbany's 71-64 win over Mount St. Mary's, earned truTV a 0.9 rating, Turner Sports said Wednesday.

The rating was up 13 percent from last year.

The UAlbany-Mount St. Mary's game peaked with a 1.0 overnight rating and 1.4 million total viewers from 8:30-8:45 p.m. The top five markets were Cincinnati, Dayton, Raleigh-Durham, Knoxville and Louisville.

The second game, North Carolina State vs. Xavier, earned a 1.1 rating, the highest ever for a First Four game. It averaged 1.4 million total viewers. The telecast peaked with a 1.2 rating and 1.9 million viewers from 9:30-10 p.m.
