ECAC Hockey tournament Faceoff Selections 2014: First round

RedLiner36 had an incredible run to the end of the season, and that is why he is the 2013-14 The Daily Gazette ECAC Hockey Faceoff Selections champion.

RedLiner36 went 37-16-6 over the final five weeks of the season to win his first championship. He went 140-70-33.

“I feel really honored to be this year’s the regular season champion,” RedLiner36 said. “So a big thanks to Ken for taking his time for putting this all together all season long and thanks to all those who participate in the Gazette ECAC Faceoff Selection Contest.”

Ryan Fay, last year’s champion, finished sixth.

Here are the final standings, with the Week 21 records in parentheses:

No. 12 Princeton at No. 5 Clarkson — Clarkson wins, 4-1 and 5-1
No. 11 Harvard at No. 6 Yale — Yale wins, 3-1 and 3-2.
No. 9 Brown at No. 8 St. Lawrence — St. Lawrence wins, 4-1 and 3-0.
