Reynolds, Verducci named FOX MLB game analysts

Harold Reynolds and Tom Verducci will be the new lead analysts for FOX's Major League Baseball coverage this season, it was announced Monday.

Reynolds and Verducci will join play-by-play announcer Joe Buck. Reynolds and Verducci are replacing Tim McCarver, who stepped down at the end of last season. The trio's first game will be the April 5 game between the San Francisco Giants and Los Angeles Dodgers on FOX Sports 1.

Reynolds and Verducci, who also work for MLB Network, will continue their duties there.

SNY New York Mets reporter and FOX NFL play-by-play announcer Kevin Burkhardt will be the main pregame show host as the show returns to FOX's Los Angeles studio. Burkhardt will also host the postseason pregame shows. He will be joined by a rotation of analysts including Hall of Famer Frank Thomas, former Dodger great Eric Karros, World Series Champion Gabe Kapler and former Reds pitcher C.J. Nitkowski.

FOX Sports Live,'s Ryan Field, who will also be a host on the pregame show, will be on of the hosts for FS1's "MLB Whiparound," which starts March 31. Field and Chris Myers host individual editions, with one or two analysts from the Thomas, Karros, Kapler and Nitkowski roster.
