WENT announces early-round high school basketball playoff coverage

Gloversville radio stations WENT-AM (1340) and FM (105.1) will broadcast five early-round games from the Section II high school basketball tournament.

Coverage tips off Saturday with the boys' Class B play-in game between Tamarac and Fonda-Fultonville at 6:55 p.m.

There will be double-headers Tuesday and Wednesday. The first round of the Class B boys will be on Tuesday with live coverage of Johnstown and Mechanicville at 6:55 p.m., followed by taped coverage of the Schuylerville at Broadalbin-Perth contest at 9 p.m.

The Class B girls will take the airwaves Wednesday. Live coverage of Johstown against either Greenville or Corinth will be at 5:55 p.m., followed at 8 p.m. by taped coverage of Fonda-Fultonville against either Hudson or Coxsackie-Athens.
