Capital Region fans of Army football will get to hear the Black Knights' games here, thanks to Magic 590 (WORW-AM).

WROW will broadcast the 12-game Army schedule starting next Saturday against Buffalo. The schedule features the annual game against Navy on Dec. 13, which will be played in Baltimore this year. The Black Knights will play at Yankee Stadium against UConn on Nov. 8.

Army's games will be on the station for the next five years. The games will also be streamed on

"We were offered the opportunity through our sister stations in the Hudson Valley," said Jay Scott, director of programming for WROW. "We'll be carrying it from them. We decided to carry it because people who enjoy the Army football find it like a patriotic experience. Those who can't get to the games, we're going to give them a chance to hear it on 590."
