Ex-Union forward Sullivan invited to Bruins rookie camp
Former Union forward Kevin Sullivan has been invited to participate in the Boston Bruins rookie camp, the team announced Thursday.
Sullivan had nine goals and 29 assists in 39 games for the NCAA-champion Dutchmen last season. He was the team's fourth-leading scorer. His goal late in the third period in the NCAA championship game against Minnesota gave Union a 6-4 lead. The Dutchmen went on to a 7-4 victory that gave them their first NCAA title.
In 132 career games, Sullivan has 23 goals and 54 assists.
The Bruins' rookie camp starts Sept. 11 and includes three games in Antioch, Tenn., at the Nashville Predators practice facility.
