Bodie, Haggerty to play for Rangers in Traverse City Prospects Camp

Former Union defenseman Mat Bodie and ex-RPI forward Ryan Haggerty are on the New York Rangers' roster for the annual Traverse City Prospects Camp that is conducted by the Detroit Red Wings, it was announced Tuesday.

Eight teams will play in the tournament, which runs Sept. 12-16. The Rangers are in the Ted Lindsay Division along with Buffalo, Carolina and Dallas. The Rangers will play Dallas at 7 p.m. Sept. 12, face Buffalo Sept. 13 at 7 p.m. and then take on Carolina at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 15.

The other teams playing in the Gordie Howe Division are Columbus, Detroit, Minnesota and St. Louis.

The final day of the tournament will feature crossover games. The teams with the best record in each division will play for the championship.
