ECAC Hockey Faceoff Selections 2013-14: Week 5

By Ken Schott
Thursday, October 31, 2013

It is rare when I can brag about having the top weekly record. Rarer still is me being on top of The Daily Gazette ECAC Hockey Faceoff Selections.

Well, I am going to brag. I posted an 11-5-2 record last week, one of four players to have the best record. And, I am tied for first in the standings with Still Crazy In Section 17, who won the first two championships.

I shouldn’t gloat too much. Just six points separates first from ninth place.

Here are the overall records, with the Week 4 records in parentheses:
Me — 26-15-5 57 points (11-5-2)
Still Crazy In Section 17 — 26-15-5 57 points (10-6-2)
Brian Unger — 25-16-5 55 points (8-8-2)
Kevin Sokolski — 25-16-5 55 points (9-7-2)
Union Bob — 25-17-4 54 points (11-5-2)
Achilles 3-7-5 — 24-17-5 53 points (10-6-2)
Casey Hart — 24-17-5 53 points (8-8-2)
Luke Devoe — 24-17-5 53 points (11-5-2)
Alan Kratzke Jr.— 23-18-5 51 points (9-7-2)
Richard Derrick — 23-18-5 51 points (7-9-2)
Messa Faithful — 22-19-5 49 points (7-9-2)
Matthew Ruffini — 22-19-5 49 points (9-7-2)
Ryan Fay — 22-19-5 49 points (11-5-2)
Andy Weise — 21-20-5 47 points (9-7-2)
