ECAC Hockey Faceoff Selections 2013-14: Week 3

By Ken Schott
Thursday, October 17, 2013

Brian Unger is the radio analyst for Union hockey on WPTR-AM (1240). He is also a big New York Giants and New York Rangers fan.

Unger is doing something his two favorite teams aren’t doing — winning.

After posting an 8-1-1 record in Week 2 of the The Daily Gazette ECAC Hockey Faceoff Selections, Unger is in first place with a 12-2-1 record.

Three other players posted 8-1-1 records last week. They were Kevin Sokolski, two-time DGECACHFS champion Still Crazy In Section 17 and newcomer Richard Derrick, who joined the competition last week.

I muddled through a 6-3-1 week.

Here are the records, with the Week 2 records in parentheses:
Brian Unger — 12-2-1 25 points (8-1-1)
Kevin Sokolski — 10-4-1 21 points (8-1-1)
Still Crazy In Section 17 — 10-4-1 21 points
Alan Kratzke Jr.— 9-5-1 19 points (6-3-1)

Casey Hart — 9-5-1 19 points (6-3-1)
Me — 9-5-1 19 points
Messa Faithful — 9-5-1 19 points (7-2-1)
RedLiner36 — 9-5-1 19 points (7-2-1)
