Carr ripped a one-timer from the top of the right circle for a power-play goal 4:04 into the game. A few minutes later, Carr tipped in a David Roy shot.

Union gave up a short-handed goal to Darcy Murphy on a two-on-one with 8.5 seconds left in the period. Union has 19 seconds of power-play time left to start the second.
