Big Tuesday night in NHL for ECAC Hockey alumni

It was a big night for ECAC Hockey alumni in the NHL on Tuesday.

Two of the former ECACH players led the Edmonton Oilers to a 4-3 overtime win over the Florida Panthers. Former Yale forward Mark Arcobello (2006-10) scored the first two goals of his NHL career, including the OT game-winner. In his first 15 games this season, Arcolbello had 10 assists. He had a one-game appearance with the Oilers last season.

Former Princeton defenseman Taylor Fedun (2007-11) made his NHL debut and scored a goal for the Oilers.

Meanwhile in Boston, former St. Lawrence forward Rich Peverley (2000-04) got the shootout winner for the Dallas Stars against his ex-Bruins teammates in a 3-2 victory.
