Ex-Union goalie Grosenick earns first pro shutout
Former Union hockey goalie Troy Grosenick earned his first pro shutout Saturday night.
Grosenick made 27 saves to lead the Worcester Sharks to a 3-0 AHL victory over the St. John's IceCaps.
Grosenick, who was named the game's first star, was especially sharp in the third period, when he stopped 13 shots.
He has appeared in three games for Worcester. Grosenick is 2-0 with a 1.33 goals-against average and a .955 save percentage.
