Kevin Sullivan scored just over 90 seconds into the game, giving Union a 1-0 lead over Dartmouth in Game 2 of their ECAC Hockey tournament quarterfinal series.
Matt Hatch forced a turnover in the Dartmouth left circle. He then passed the puck to Sullivan, who was skating down the slot. Sullivan fired it past goalie Charles Grant's left pad.
Dartmouth had the momentum in the second half of the period, but Dutchmen goalie Troy Grosenick made eight saves.
Union leads the best-of-three series, 1-0. A win puts the Dutchmen in the semifinals next Friday in Atlantic City, N.J.
