Four Union players in NHL development camps

By Ken Schott
Wednesday, July 3, 2013

Four members of last season's Union hockey team will be heading to NHL prospect camps.

Defensemen Shayne Gostisbehere and Tim Boyle will be making second trips to the teams that drafted them last year, the Philadelphia Flyers and Ottawa Senators, respectively. The Flyers' camp is July 8-11, while the Senators' camp got underway today and runs through Sunday.

Forward Josh Jooris will be in the Calgary Flames' camp. He was in the Vancouver Canucks' camp last summer.

Goalie Troy Grosenick will be in the San Jose Sharks' camp. Grosenick signed a new two-year deal with the team Tuesday.

Defenseman Mat Bodie could be headed to a camp. He was in the Chicago Blackhawks' camp last summer, and it's possible he will make a return visit.
