ECAC Hockey Faceoff Selections 2012-13: Week 21

Two weeks ago, I picked against Union in its home games against Yale and Brown after its disastrous North Country trip, when it was swept by Clarkson and St. Lawrence. Naturally, the Dutchmen proved me wrong by beating Yale and Brown.

Last week, I picked the Dutchmen to win at Colgate and Cornell. But the Dutchmen proved me wrong again by losing both games. That was part of the reason I went 3-8-1 last week. So, I will probably go back to picking against Union.

As far as the battle for the championship is concerned, From The NIP to the Bank pulled to within two points of Ryan Fay. Defending champion Matthew Ruffini is six points back and will need a miracle to repeat as champion.

Here are the overall standings, with the Week 20 records in parentheses:
Ryan Fay — 119-77-31 269 points (5-6-1)
From the NIP to the Bank — 117-77-33 267 points (7-4-1)
Matthew Ruffini — 115-79-33 263 points (6-5-1)
Stephen Salmon — 110-84-33 253 points (5-6-1)
RedLiner36 — 109-85-33 251 points (6-5-1)
Messa Faithful — 109-86-32 250 points (7-4-1)
Burgie — 109-89-29 247 points (7-4-1)
Me — 106-90-31 243 points (3-8-1)
Andy Weise — 105-89-33 243 points (6-5-1)
Alan Kratzke Jr.— 105-90-32 242 points (5-6-1)
Achilles 3-7-5 — 102-92-33 237 points (4-7-1)
Casey Hart — 100-95-32 232 points (5-6-1)
Brian Unger — 98-98-31 227 points (3-8-1)
Still Crazy In Section 17 — 96-99-32 224 points (5-6-1)
