Novak's goal gives Union a 1-0 lead over Brown after two

Max Novak scored midway though the second period to give Union a 1-0 lead over Brown after 40 minutes of play in the ECAC Hockey game at Messa Rink.

Novak worked the give-and-go perfectly with Kevin Sullivan. Novak sent a pass from the left circle to Sullivan behind the goal line. Novak headed to the net, took Sullivan's return pass and fired it over goalie Anthony Borelli's glove at 9:30.

Union is outshooting Brown, 31-12.
