Fallen's PPG gives Yale a 1-0 lead over Union after one

Tommy Fallen's power-play goal late in the first period has given 10th-ranked Yale a 1-0 lead over Union after 20 minutes of play in their ECAC Hockey game Friday at Messa Rink.
With Sebastien Gingras in the penalty box for holding, Fallen was at the left point intercepted a Matt Hatch clearing attempt from behind the net. Fallen snapped a hard wrist shot past goalie Troy Grosenick's glove and in the upper right corner of the net with 2:24 left in the first.
Union took four penalties in the period. The Dutchmen had one power play, and will start the second period on the power play.
The Dutchmen outshot the Bulldogs, 11-10.
