Kasdorf, Miller win ECAC Hockey honors

Two RPI players were honored by ECAC Hockey on Tuesday.

Jason Kasdorf was named goalie of the week. The freshman netminder became the first RPI goalie since the late Nathan Marsters to post back-to-back shutouts. Kasdorf made 11 saves in Friday’s 3-0 win over Harvard, and stopped 28 shots in Saturday’s 3-0 triumph over Dartmouth.

Freshman forward Mark Miller earned rookie of the week. He had three goals over the weekend. Miller scored twice, including the game-winner, against Harvard, and then had a tally against Dartmouth.
