Clifton Park eliminated from 14YO Babe Ruth World Series

Clifton Park's hopes of bringing home the Babe Ruth 14-year-old World Series title back to the Capital Region ended Friday in Moses Lake, Wash.

Tualatin Hills (Ore.) scored three runs in the first inning and three more in the third to beat the Knights, 7-3.

Matt Clark, Keegan Huey and Casey McGough had two hits each for Tualatin Hills.

Clifton Park, which went 4-0 in pool play, scored twice in the second on Nikolas Malachowski's RBI double and Payton Johnson's RBI single.

Michael Spulnick had an RBI single in the seventh for the Knights.
