NBC Sports Group announces Breeders' Cup broadcast coverage
The NBC Sports Group announced its Breeders' Cup broadcast schedule on Thursday.
Coverage from Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, Calif., begins Friday, Nov. 2, on NBC Sports Network from 4-8 p.m. NBCSN continues its coverage on Saturday, Nov. 3, from 3:30-8 p.m. NBC Sports will have prime-time coverage of the Breeders’ Cup Classic at 8 p.m. Nov. 3.
Tom Hammond will host the coverage. The rest of the crew are analysts Gary Stevens, Randy Moss and Jerry Bailey, contributing analysts/handicappers Mike Battaglia and Bob Neumeier, host/reporter Laffit Pincay III and reporters Kenny Rice, Donna Brothers, Jay Privman and Nick Luck.
Larry Collmus will call the Breeders' Cup Classic and Ladies' Classic. NBC will take the call of track announcer Trevor Denman for the remaining races.
NBC Sports Group returns to televising the Breeders' Cup for the first time since 2005. ESPN had the races between 2006-11.
