Union remained eighth in the latest USCHO.com/NCAA top-20 college hockey poll Monday.

The Dutchmen (8-2-1), the top-ranked ECAC Hockey team in the poll, swept a two-game series from Penn State over the weekend by scores of 2-0 and 4-1.

Five other ECAC Hockey teams are in the poll. Dartmouth is 11th, Cornell is 12th, Yale is 15th, Quinnipiac is 16th and Harvard is 19th. Safe to say, this is the best showing ever for ECACH in the poll.

We will see a matchup of nationally ranked teams Friday at Messa Rink when Union faces Quinnipiac.

The Dutchmen moved up to seventh in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine top-15 poll.
