Bodie out 6 to 8 weeks with broken wrist

Union junior defenseman Mat Bodie will be out 6 to 8 weeks with a broken wrist, it was announced before Saturday's uutchmen-RPI game at Messa Rink.

Bodie was injured on the first shift of the game. He played the first 36 seconds, went to bench and then went to the locker room a minute later.

Bodie, the Dutchmen captain, has two goals and four assists in six games this season. He has 16 goals and 51 assists in 85 career games. He was an All-ECAC Hockey first team and second-team All-America last season.
