What Time Warner Cable subscribers are missing Tuesday night on MSG and MSG Plus

It's Day 3 of the dispute between Time Warner Cable and MSG Networks. MSG and MSG Plus are off the TWC system until a new agreement is reached. More on that in a moment.

But first, here is what TWC subscribers are missing tonight.

At 7 p.m. on MSG and Sabres HD, it's the Buffalo Sabres hosting the Edmonton Oilers.

Now, as a far as reaching an agreement is concerned, it doesn't look like anything will be happening soon. MSG Media president Michael Bair responded to the press release TWC issued at midnight Sunday.

"There are no negotiations between MSG and Time Warner Cable, we continue to urge fans to switch providers so they won’t miss games," Bair said. "This month alone, Time Warner Cable subscribers will miss 15 of 17 Knicks games and countless Rangers, Sabres, Devils and Islanders games.

"We are disappointed that MSG and MSG Plus were dropped from Time Warner Cable’s lineup. All we have asked is for Time Warner Cable to value our programming in the same way as other TV providers -- nothing more, nothing less."

Bair also said that the 53 percent rate increase that TWC claims MSG is asking for is a "gross mischaracterization."
