Rotterdam's Hand honored by U.S. Hockey League

Rotterdam native and Indiana Ice defenseman Peter Hand was named the U.S. Hockey League's defenseman of the week on Monday.

Hand had a goal and four assists, along with a plus-5 rating, in the Ice's two games last week. He assisted on three of Indiana's four goals in a 7-4 loss against the Green Bay Gamblers on Friday, and then had a goal and an assist, along with a plus-4 rating, in a 6-3 loss to the Gamblers on Saturday.

Hand has a goal and six assists in 12 games. His plus-4 ratings is second on the Ice.
