TruTV gets Coaches vs. Cancer Classic basketball tournament

The Coaches vs. Cancer Classic basketball tournament, which has been a staple for 16 years on ESPN, is moving to a new channel next year.

Turner Sports announced Thursday that it has secured the rights to the early-season tournament. TruTV will televise the semifinals, consolation and finals. Next year's tournament will be played at the Barclays Center of Brooklyn. It's a multiyear agreement.
