WGY-AM and FM to broadcast UAlbany football season opener

The University at Albany football team's season opener at Colgate Sept. 3 will be carried by WGY-AM (810) and WGY-FM (103.1), it was announced Wednesday. Air time is 5:45 p.m.

The game is being shifted to the two WGY stations because the Danes' normal radio home, WOFX-AM (980), will be broadcasting the New York Mets-Washington Nationals game at 6:25 p.m.
